• The name of the local Christian group is the Association of Christian Lawyers (ACL), organized in August 2004.  ACL has approximately 20 active lawyers in its network coordinated by Mr. Omar Gonzalez.

Major Activities of Christian Lawyers:

• The group is in the process of making plans and coordinating ideas for their future involvement in religious freedoms and human rights issues.

Convocation Goals:

• The Global Convocation organized by Advocates International is important to the Christian lawyers from Venezuela because it will provide them with the opportunity to fellowship with other international Christian lawyers.  In addition, it will provide the Venezuelan lawyers with an opportunity to exchange law experiences with other participating delegates.  In addition, the Convocation will encourage ACL to continue growing and help defend the needy.

• Spiritual strengthening and material provisions for Venezuela and its people
