Legal Profession:

• Accurate estimates for the number of lawyers and number of believers involved in the legal profession in Honduras were unavailable at the time of publication.
• The name of the local Christian group is the Christian Legal Fellowship of Honduras (Fraternidad Jurídica Cristiana de Honduras- FJCH) is based in the industrial city of San Pedro de Sula, Honduras.  It was founded in July 2001 and has more than 50 members.

Major Activities of Christian Lawyers:

FJCH lawyers are involved with the following activities:

• Presenting legal proposals before the Honduran Congress in order to achieve a more equal treatment for Evangelicals before the law and the public institutions of the country.
• Organizing a major event every two months to reach out to other lawyers, getting an attendance of about 150 participants every time.
• The Fellowship has a TV program for an hour every week where they provide legal advice to members of the audience that call on the phone. The program also seeks to motivate lawyers and professionals to apply high ethical standards to their work and be responsible citizens.
