Convocation Goals:

• The Global Convocation will provide the Christian lawyers of Sri Lanka with an opportunity to connect with other Christian lawyers, make new friendships, and encourage one another to persevere in doing justice with compassion.

Prayer Items:

• God’s help in preventing the passage of pending legislation aimed at restricting religious conversions in the country
• An increase in justice, equity, and good governance
• God’s protection over Christians and minority defenders who are the victims of violence in Sri Lanka
• Social and moral regeneration, and an end to violence and economic hardship in the country
• National reconciliation and lasting peacebetween the various communities, political fractions, and individual citizens in Sri Lanka
• God’s guidance and protection over the country’s’ youth (particularly child soldiers and combatants who have learned to live by the dictate of the gun)
