MONTHLY PROGRESS WORK REPORT
JUNE-JULY 2003

Dear ones in faith,
We approved our work plan for the year 2003 at the end of December 2002. So we will do our best to fulfill the plan. We glorify God for what He has done and what He will do in further, as Hi Love and blessing has been on us entirely through these months. The following activity has been completed for the period from June- July 2003  We have been notifying that from this year we have decided to submit our monthly report to everybody interested in it.

Thank you very much for all whom are supporting and praying for us.

Work performed pursuant with our major objective

June

Legal Advocacy

A.     Legal assistance provided to “Mission Community Center”

Within the framework of the legal issues of this Organization currently we are performing 3 kinds of activities. As we have been informing in previous months’ report this is a Christian organization of the Korean missionary, which serves for the Church and other Christians cooperatively works with “Huree” University. First one is the registration work of the Mission Community Center, secondly obtaining Certificate of the Real estate; third one is registration work of the one branch Church in Ovorhangai. We have faced some problems related to the governance of the Ovorhangai Aimag as we plan to get registration thus the process is taking a little too long we sincerely pray for the Good response from them.

B.     Registration of the “Children Resource Center “

We are now on the process of preparing all the needed documents in case to register and carry on its activities more frequently, As in Mongolia there are very few organizations which help to prepare the leaders for the Children congregations in order to spread more gospels and share the love and blessing of our Lord with the children along with the other Humanitarian work it would be the one of the very beneficial organization to the children and we are continuing with the anticipation of your prayers.

C.    “Amin Us” Church

We have planned to complete the registration work of this Church within 3 months and at the moment we have prepared the documents and it is ready o be discussed at any level in order to get register. We are only waiting for the upcoming Meeting of the People’s Representative office in August because in summer it is their official holiday.

D.     Legal assistance provided about tax issue “Call to the New Life”

This organization has been involved in tax problem regarding to their misunderstanding between tax office thus they charged more money than it is expected by helping to clearly identify the real situation about the organization to the Tax office we could reduce the excess of the tax fees which were actually illegal.

E.     Xin Con Consulting Company

This company has been operating Mongolia in Humanitarian field especially their objective is to develop Vulnerable people by training and producing goods and selling them. In this month we have been working on renewal of the Certificate of the Company and extending visa of Norway family’s who are operates this Company for a year as the validity of their visa was over while their stay in Norway. We wish that Holy Spirit be on them as they had new baby boy in Norway.

Humanitarian field

Being Christian –Lawyers we consider available to provide to vulnerable people with any possible assistance free of any charge so we have given legal advice free of charge for 2 persons whose family members were attending Christian churches who have been implicated in a crime / one is victim of the traffic accident and other one was guilty of misdemeanor/ and we spent a lot time altogether doing so. These people were very poor thus could not hire advocate on their own therefore from Government they appointed some certain advocates but unfortunately they did not even provide minor legal advocacy and

July

Legal Advocacy

A.     “Good Works” -Legal assistance provided in a field of Tax

This is Christian organization with the Japanese Missionary and they owned building as a result o the real estate purchasing agreement with other bodies. But unfortunately the estimated cost of the Building was too higher than actual price and from tax office, officials without paying any attention to the mistake of the actual cost they demanded to fine Good act for not paying taxes as indicated in Certificate, they confirmed and fined them with 2500$

But actually the real cost of the Real estate was much less than which was in official documents provided by the seller of the Real estate. By reexamining the Real estate’s actual cost with the Officials from the Real Estate registration office we could confirm the real price and as a result of this we could reduce the fine from 2500$ until 1500$.

We provided advices about the tax matters, which could arise in further and to prevent from the confusion with the tax office.

B.     Asian Reach

As you may have recall we have long lasting relationship with this organization and we have worked for the benefit of this organization for a half of a year and now at the moment we are providing assistance regarding to the Orphanage activities which faces legal problems more frequently as they involves care of the orphan children and adoption process.

Currently they are looking for the opportunity to have regular Adoption agency in America, which is named Christian World Adoption, as it would help a lot in adoption process. Just in case to have regular continuing adoption process Christian world adoption needs to be registered and we are examining the possibilities as from the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, officials making unclear resistance and informing that in Mongolia there are already 3 Adoption Agency and they can be enough but for us the price is too high in each of them.

We pray for the good response from the Officials, as Mongolia really needs organizations, which work in humanitarian field and the future of the children.

C.     Registration of the Darkhan- Christ Church

As being requested by the Nagasava Makedo, a Japanese Missionary we worked accomplished in getting registration of the Christian Church in Darkhan city, which is the second big city in Mongolia. This church has 50 members, established 3 years ago and from then tried to be registered officially.

With blessing, the legal process of the registration went on much easily and response from the Local authorities was much friendly. We still thank God for enabling and using us to add one more Faithful light in Darkhan.

At the moment have transferred the registration documents to the Ministry of the Justice in case to get the official Certificate.

Protecting rights of conscience and religious belief

D.    Gobi- Light Church

This church located in the far south of the Mongolia in the DundGobi province and has not been actually registered as they have faced strong pressure from the Local Governance. Staying for sure by the side of absolute Rights and freedoms of conscience and religious belief we met the representatives and officials who caused and threatened to stop Church’s activity and in the end we could achieve on some certain kind of agreement and we believe that in further there won’t be such rude violence against this Church.

These reports are the general acknowledgement and description of the efforts made through the 2 months from June to July 2003. We are eager to hear you valuable comments and suggestions, which may most possibly come out.
