Major Activities of Christian Lawyers:
Christian lawyers in Pakistan are involved in the following activities:
- Providing free legal aid to underprivileged believers, Christian churches, and organizations
- Addressing issues and legal violations with regards to the rights of Christian minorities
- Participating in the Lahore High Court Bar Association and Lahore District Bar Association (assistedthe High Court Bar with the formation of a committee on the rights of minorities)
- Participating in national, regional, and international conferences
- Holding seminars with the collaboration of different Christian organizations on topics such as labor and discriminatory laws
- Organizing protests against the church attacks and the murder of Christians in 2003
Convocation Goals:
- The Pakistani Christian lawyers believe the Global Convocation will shape Christian brotherhood in the legal profession. The Convocation will help foster international communication and ease the exchange of ideas on serving Christ globally.
