Legal Profession:
- Accurate estimates for the number of lawyers in Malawi and the number of believers involved in the legal profession were not available at the time of publication.
- The name of the local Christian group is the Christian Lawyers Association of Malawi, which informally started in 2002. Two chapters exist: a group in the capital city of Lilongwe meets regularly; the group in Blantyre is not yet organized to the point of having regular meetings.
Major Activities of Christian Lawyers:
- Working to get the Christian Lawyers Association of Malawi registered under the Trustees Incorporation Act. All the documentation is ready and the leadership anticipates that this will be achieved shortly.
- Regular meetings on Fridays for fellowship; additional functions such as prayer and fasting sessions.

- For an expansion in operations and membership.
- To bring in as many lawyers to the Lord as possible.
