The leaders of ALA/RLAAC established contacts with Christian colleagues in Caracas, the capital city of Venezuela in 2005. Two years later, Laura Fuenmayor and Rhaizza de Villarreal attended the Seventh Latin American Christian Lawyers Convocation (VII CLAC) organized by ALA/RLAAC and the Ecuadorian Christian Lawyers Foundation in October 2007. By then, Laura and Rhaizza, with several other colleagues had already established the Mizpat Association of Christian Lawyers in Venezuela.

Our Venezuelan colleagues offer pro-bono services to the community in Caracas, and have established contacts in several provinces of the country.

The current leaders of the Mizpat Association are Laura Fuenmayor, President; Elaine Diamond and Rhaizza de Villarreal.
