Honduras delegates Roberto Marroquín and Giovanna Reyes attended the First Latin American Christian Lawyers Convocation in Ica, Peru, in 2001. Upon their return to Honduras, Roberto quickly organized the Honduran Christian Legal Fellowship (Fraternidad Jurídica Cristiana de Honduras – FJCH) in the city of San Pedro Sula, the industrial center of the country, at 60 km. south of Puerto Cortez on the Caribbean Sea. Since then, FJCH members have participated in every ALA/RLAAC annual regional convocation.
Our Honduran colleagues have been very active in Christian mediation, especially between churches and denominations. They regularly participate in radio and TV programs.
While most of FJCH activities take place in the city of San Pedro Sula, ALA/RLAAC also has contacts with Christian lawyers in Tegucigalpa, the capital city.
The current officers of FJCH/Honduras are Geovanny Pinto, President; and Roberto Marroquín.
