In January, 2010, Latcho Popov, an AI Global Council member, the President of
Advocates Europe and Director of the Rule of Law Institute in Bulgaria, obtained a court order
setting aside a ban by the mayor in a major city barring the Campus Crusade film, Mary
Magdalene.  He also filed in the European Court of Human Rights the documentation needed
to recover damages on behalf of hundreds of believers who were denied the right to worship.
Latcho is preparing for the 5th meeting of the European Religious Freedom Alliance in April.

Diana Daskalova, who has written the Global Prayer Calendar since 2002, will
be married on April 3, 2010.  After graduating from Handong International School of Law in Korea, she launched the “Center for Legal Aid” to help refugees and aliens in Bulgaria.
